Some of these people live in war-torn areas and have lost everything they possessed during the war, some including whole family members. Most have been dispossessed of their lands, thereby making it impossible for them to even have a roof to shelter their heads or a piece of land to cultivate crops for daily sustenance. That’s why we care! Mexabet.org is a non-profit charity organization that is entirely philanthropic, in the true sense of the vocabulary.

In a continent where the margin between the rich and the poor gets wider everyday, the poorest bears the brunt of the ailing national economies. Social security benefits are virtually non-existent. The orphans live in obscurity with uncertain future, when they so desperately need, among other things, father and mother figures. They like all of us, deserve to be loved! The helpless aged and the sick among us deserve our tender act of kindness and compassion. That’s why we care!!

In a continent that is generally embracing technological advancement at snail’s speed, people seem to be too immersed in their own problems. Little thought is given to the fact that for our continent to really achieve technological advancement, the less privileged among us need not be left behind. That’s why we care!!
